Each workshop is limited to 8 participants.  Horses will be provided for the practical hands-on work.  The fee of  $1100 per participant includes 4 days, horses to work with and all equipment needed for the groundwork exercises.  Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for the season, protective sunscreen if applicable, and hat and gloves for working with the horses outdoors.  A notebook will also come in handy.  Due to the personal nature of these workshops, they are closed to spectators.

Chris designed his EAPD curriculums to provide participants with a solid foundation of personal integrity with both horses and humans.  By learning to “walk your own talk” of balancing an equine mindset, both consciously and unconsciously, with our own human perspective, respect and appreciation for the symbiotic relationship that exists between the two species becomes self-evident.  A dynamic, cutting-edge repertoire of knowledge can them be presented with “ah ha!” results in many EAP fields – be it corporate leadership, personal coaching, family counseling, mental and physical health and healing, parenting, teaching, etc.

General Information

Although it is helpful, participants are not required to have working horsemanship experience or skills, but should have a familiarity and comfort level around horses.   Daily sessions will include theory, discussions and practical work with the horses.  Should you wish to bring a horse to be worked with at your session, please contact Connie Smith about the appropriateness of your horse in this setting.  If it is determined your horse would be a good fit for the workshop, please contact the host facility directly to set up your own stabling arrangements.

Fees and Payment

Participant fee is $1100 – includes horses and equipment. Participants are responsible for their own accommodation, meals and travel to and from the clinic.

To secure your place in a clinic, a deposit is required along with a completed registration form.   Please be aware these clinics book quickly, and spaces are confirmed on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Deposit can be paid through PayPal, Visa, Mastercard or cheque.  If paying by cheque, please make payable to Horsepower Productions and mail to: P.O. Box 1619, Whitecourt, Alberta T7S 1P4 Canada.

Simply emailing a request to attend a clinic does not automatically include you on the roster. Your space cannot be confirmed until your deposit & completed registration form have been received. At that time you will receive an email as receipt of your deposit & confirming your space. If the clinic has already filled by the time your registration is received, you will be advised and given the option of going on the waiting list.

Balances owing will be due in full at the event.  You can pay your balance at the event by cash, credit card or cheque payable to HORSEPOWER PRODUCTIONS INC.

Cancellation Policy

Deposits for registrations canceled more than 30 days before the clinic date will be eligible for refund (less 10% administration fee) only if a replacement is found.   Alternatively, you may choose to transfer the deposit to another event (within 1 year) 0nly if a replacement is found for the space you are releasing.  Deposits for cancelations received within 30 days prior to the clinic date will not be refunded.
