General Information

The 4 Day EAPD workshop as well as the 2 Day EAPD Basic Introduction Workshop are  limited to 8 participants.

Horses will be provided for the practical hands-on work. All equipment needed for the groundwork exercises will be provided. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for the season, protective sunscreen if applicable, and hat and gloves for working with the horses outdoors. A notebook will also come in handy. Due to the personal nature of these workshops, they are closed to spectators.

Chris designed his EAPD curriculum to provide participants with a solid foundation of personal integrity with both horses and humans. By learning to “walk your own talk” of balancing an equine mindset, both consciously and unconsciously, with our own human perspective, respect and appreciation for the symbiotic relationship that exists between the two species becomes self-evident. A dynamic, cutting-edge repertoire of knowledge can them be presented with “ah ha!” results in many EAP fields – be it corporate leadership, personal coaching, family counseling, mental and physical health and healing, parenting, teaching, etc.

Although it is helpful, participants are not required to have working horsemanship experience or skills, but should have a familiarity and comfort level around horses. Daily sessions will include theory, discussions and practical work with the horses. Should you wish to bring a horse to be worked with at your session, please email Connie Smith info@chrisirwin.com about the appropriateness of your horse in this setting. If it is determined your horse would be a good fit for the workshop, please contact the host facility directly to set up your own stabling arrangements.

You may secure your space in the workshop with a completed registration form and a deposit.  Session spaces are filled on a first-come first-serve basis. You may pay online, contact us with your Visa or MC information, or send a personal cheque (payable to HORSEPOWER PRODUCTIONS)  to the address found on our “Contact Us” page.   Simply calling or emailing your intention of participating does not ensure your space in the workshop. Should your deposit be received after the workshop is full, you will be contacted and given the option of going on waiting list.  If you choose that option, your deposit will not be processed unless a space opens up for you. The balance of your fee must be paid in full at the event by credit card, cash or cheque made payable to HORSEPOWER PRODUCTIONS.

Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the clinic date: deposit (less 10% administration fee) will be refunded OR you may transfer the deposit to a future event only if a replacement is found for your space.  Please keep the notification in your files as it will be required for verification of applicability towards a future event registration. Such event must be within one calendar year from the date the deposit was originally taken.

Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the clinic date: deposit is non-refundable.
